It was a successful mission again for the Muskie court teams yesterday against the host Kenora Broncos.
All four squads came away victorious to help solidify their standings heading into the NorWOSSA playoffs.
The Muskie junior boys' basketball team came away with a 52-44 triumph to improve their league-leading record to 6-1.
Caleb Allan scored a team-high 20 points to pace the black-and-gold while Brady Bodnarchuk added 10.
Brady Meeks chipped in with nine points.
The senior hoopsters, meanwhile, rolled to a 72-59 win to improve their record to 4-3.
Kobi Ward netted a whopping team-high 37 points while Cole Kowalski had 11.
In girls' volleyball action, the seniors Muskies (5-2) eked out a five-set win (25-16, 25-12, 22-25, 23-25, and 15-8) over the Broncos.
As for the first-place juniors, they cruised to another straight-sets triumph (25-13, 25-6, and 26-24) to improve to 6-1.
All four squads were back in action this afternoon against the host Dryden Eagles to close out their regular-season schedules.
The NorWOSSA playoffs are set for next Friday (Feb. 16) in Dryden.
