Three of the four Muskie court teams came away victorious Tuesday afternoon in NorWOSSA action against the host Kenora Broncos.
Both the junior and senior girls' volleyball squads claimed their matches in four sets to improve their league records to an identical 5-0.
The juniors won by scores of 25-18, 25-9, 24-26, and 25-9 while the seniors were victorious with scores of 25-12, 25-15, 24-26, and 25-23.
The senior boys' basketball squad, meanwhile, rolled to a 95-51 romp over Kenora on the strength of Kobi Ward's 26 points to improve to 4-1 in league play.
Ben Smith and Sean Huziak each netted 12 points.
The juniors were the lone squad not to come away with a win Tuesday—losing 63-46 to the Broncos to see their league record fall to 1-3.
Santino Smith scored a team-high 13 points for the Muskies while Jordon Bazylewski chipped in 12.
All four Muskie teams will be back in action this weekend at tournaments.
The girls will be at the “Winter Blast” tournament in Kenora on Friday and Saturday while the boys will be in Thunder Bay those same days.
All four squads then resume league action next Tuesday (Jan. 15) when they host the Dryden Eagles at Fort High.
